Bio & Education:


Beth is a native of Columbia, SC and has been established in the Charleston area since 2001.  She has earned the following credentials:


  • Master of Arts in Psychology from the Citadel's Clinical Counseling Program. The Citadel's Clinical Counseling Master of Arts Program is accredited by the Masters in Psychology and Counseling Accreditation Counsel (MPCAC), and is a member of the Council of Applied Masters Programs in Psychology (CAMPP)

  • Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the College of Charleston

  • Master of Education in Student Personnel Services from the University of South Carolina

  • Intensive DBT training through Behavioral Tech, A Linehan Institute for Training

  • Level 1 Clinical Training Gottman Method Couples Therapy 

  • Co-Parenting Coordinator through Cooperative Parenting Institute 

Beth's Approach:

Beth’s theoretical approach is comprehensive in nature and utilizes evidenced-based strategies. Specifically, utilizing Cognitive Behavioral,  Dialectical Behavioral  and Emotionally Focused techniques. 


Some specific interests include:

  • Regulating mood to reduce symptoms of stress, anxiety and depression. 

  • Mindfulness and Emotional Regulation

  • Relationship and communication problems

  • Co-Parenting Coordination 

  • Divorce Coaching 


Beth’s approach to both individual and couples coaching uses non-judgmental, compassionate support identifying emotions and suggesting new tools to help achieve joy and wellness. Beth believes each person has the ability to lead a fulfilling life.


Beth’s past experience involves having worked with a diverse client population including clinical private practice in the Charleston area, Counseling and Substance Abuse Services at the College of Charleston and international students at the University of South Carolina and Denver University. These experiences are valuable in treating those from a variety of cultural backgrounds.
