Beth’s approach considers the various ways challenging issues impact one’s life. Using an integrative and compassionate approach to support clients through some of life’s most challenging moments, helping them regain a sense of control and move toward healing. She specializes in the treatment of depression, anxiety, trauma, emotional dysregulation, and interpersonal difficulties.
The impact of trauma and disturbing life events extends far beyond the past—it can manifest as persistent grief, overwhelming self-doubt, people-pleasing tendencies, difficulty setting boundaries, strained relationships, and a struggle to feel truly confident or worthy.
Utilizing her extensive training in EMDR, Beth skillfully blends this method with mindfulness, DBT, CBT and relational therapy to assist client’s with making the changes they seek. EMDR is a form of psychotherapy which can be extremely effective in healing a range of symptoms of emotional distress resulting from disturbing life experiences.
EMDR therapy incorporates eye movements or other bilateral stimulation into a comprehensive approach that processes and releases information trapped in the mind and body, freeing people from disturbing images and body sensations, debilitating emotions, and restrictive beliefs.
As a guide, Beth’s approach enables individuals to overcome their past and build a stronger, more positive self in their present and future.
